Scientific information is crucial for implementing management measures that reduce the impact of extractive activities on biodiversity, habitats, and Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems.

Ecoafrik's results enable it to provide advice to governments, oil companies, and the fishing sector on Marine Spatial Planning (MPAs), Ecological Vulnerability and Impact Analysis (EVA), and Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs).

At the same time, the extensive experience of Ecoafrik scientists serves as a support for the development of outreach projects aimed at students and society as a whole.
